Studio FAQ

Our studio is located at 423 West Broadway, Unit 405 (that’s on the fourth floor), at West Broadway & F Street in South Boston.

Our entrance is between Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant and CVS. You will need to buzz to enter. The elevator is not the fastest! So if you’re in for a little workout, you can access the staircase right next to the mailboxes.

There is 2-hour street parking, as well as a 2-hour parking lot across the street on West Broadway.

For lash appointments, please consult your lash stylist about your appointment time – we can pause the appointment so you can move your car if need be.

If this is your first appointment, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure we can get your consent & new client information form filled out. To save you time, it is best to sign these prior to your appointment when we email it to you.

We understand that life happens! To ensure you don’t get charged our 50% cancellation fee, please let us know your intent to reschedule or cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time.

Lashes & Tan FAQ

The million dollar question!

It really depends on what you’re looking for.

You should opt for extensions if:

  • You are looking for more volume than what you’ve got;
  • You are looking for more length than is naturally achievable with your natural lashes;
  • You are looking for more drama in your eyes than what mascara can achieve;
  • You understand and are OK with the maintenance that lash extensions require. Lash extensions need to be filled regularly, and thus are the higher cost option of the two.

You should opt for a lash lift if:

  • You are looking for a very natural look;
  • You want length – but are OK with the length of your natural eyelashes (ask us about lash serums!);
  • You’re looking for something that is lower maintenance (lash lifts last for 6-8 weeks).

If you’re unsure, you can always book a 5 minute consult with us!

EYELASH EXTENSIONS:

While there are extension-safe mascaras, they are typically not sold at your every day store. The point of extensions is to eliminate the use of mascara, and if you do use normal mascara on them, it can easily lead to damage / the process of removing it can result in premature lash loss.

LASH LIFT:

You can use mascara with a lash lift. However, a lash tint (added to your lift appointment easily) eliminates this need!

We always recommend you wait 24 hours before getting your lashes wet!

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sweat-inducing activities (yes, that includes working out)
  • Bathing / Showering
  • Rain
  • Sauna / Steam

LASH EXTENSIONS

If you find that you are experiencing dramatic lash loss in the first 3 days, contact us within 3 days – we’ll have a conversation with you to assess possible causes, and have you come back in.

LASH LIFT

We are able to relax your lift if you aren’t happy with them, however we cannot re-lift for a 6 week period. The chemicals are just too harsh for your lashes to go for a second round, and your lash health is our top priority.

If you find that the lift didn’t take, please contact us right away and we will work with you to handle the situation.

If you are dissatisfied with our airbrush tanning results, let us know within 48 hours – we’d be delighted to work with you to resolve the problem! We ask our clients to assume responsibility after this 48 hour period.

We do not offer refunds on eyelash services provided. Every case is unique – we will assess your experience on a case by case basis to come to a solution to make the situation right.

Lashes FAQ

If applied professionally and correctly, eyelash extensions will not damage your natural eyelashes. After care is also an essential element to lash health.

Your stylist may recommend from time to time that it’s time to give your lashes a breather!

Generally it is recommended that you stay away from extreme heat while you have lash extensions.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • A blow dryer straight in your face
  • Cooking / baking – i.e. when you open that oven, be aware of your lashes! The heat from the oven can cause the lash to lose its curl
  • Sauna
